It's a 6-bit color TN panel, so don't expect perfectly smooth gradients like you would from a CRT or from an IPS LCD panel. The true 16:9 ratio gives a really wide view, much wider than the 4:3 or 5:4 screens many are probably used to. The color uniformity is pretty good, though that's just my intuitive feeling from using it. The colors and contrast are pretty good to my eye, at least as far as normal desktop work and games/movies are concerned. Also there is no noticeable input lag from what I can tell.
